9月19日，好萊塢演員、職業摔角運動員巨石強森（Dwayne Johnson）在社交媒體instagram上分享了一張被他徒手拆毀的鐵柵欄大門的「事故現場」照片，他發文稱，「因為嚴重的風暴導致斷電，所以我家的電動前門打不開了。我曾試著用液壓系統打開閘門，通常斷電的時候我都會這麼做，但這次不行。」所以情急之下，他徒手拆下電動鐵門，維修人員嚇傻。
巨石強森在文中解釋稱，「男人必須要去工作」，在得知維修的技術人員要在等待45分鐘後才能趕到家裡時，他做了他該做的事，他說，「我知道（電影拍攝片場）有數百位製作人員在等著我去上班，我必須儘快去工作，所以做了我該做的事，推、拉、撕開了我家的鐵柵欄大門」。
一個小時後趕來的維修人員與家裡的保安碰面，技術人員和焊工在進行維修前看到眼前景象，全都露出難以置信的表情，甚至有些害怕。
巨石強森還幽默的調侃道：「我想我已經百分百準備好成為blackadam（黑亞當）了。」（即他將飾演的DC電影的新角色）。」

Not my finest hour 🤦🏽♂️, but a man』s gotta go to work. We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out – but this time it wouldn』t. Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn』t have 45min to wait. By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day. So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass. My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, 「in disbelief and equally scared」 🤣 Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work.
