由于在监督不足、接触危险物、管教不当以及儿童自行离开等方面存在严重违规行为，新州多家托育服务机构被关闭、停业或处分。

监管机构数据显示，在短短12个月内，已有数百家托育服务因严重违规而被罚款或制裁，执法行动超过4000宗。

该州托育监管机构早期学习委员会（ELC）在2025年共发出4653项处置，包括6项强制停业令，并取消了19个服务许可。

Maroubra知名的LyceeConcordet托育服务以及Great Western Family Day Care的服务许可已于2026年2月被取消。

过去六个月内，位于Carlingford的Fairytales Preschool and Long Day Care，以及位于Gregory Hills和Lane Cove North的Jenny’s Kindergarten均被强制停业。

根据生产力委员会数据，2025财年，新州托育服务共发生超过9430宗严重事件，其中包括963宗需要紧急服务介入的事件，以及792宗儿童失去监管（去向不明）的情况。
