2017年的奖学金和SEAL program考试早在上个学期就已经尘埃落定，Excel With-us照例取得了很好的成绩：4人获得Balwyn High SEAL Program的offer; 1人获得Doncaster Eat Secondary SEAL Program的offer; 另有5人分别获得Camberwell Grammar School, Ruyton Girls School, Fintona Girls School, Trinity Grammar School 以及Genazzano College的奖学金。
由于我们在奖学金准备过程中，除了每周不断“刷题”以外，还特别注重基础知识的学习，把六、七年级的知识点，逐个梳理，不留空隙，所以，对于错过奖学金和SEAL Program offer的孩子们来说，他们的基础更扎实了，在学校里的学习更加自信了。
我们都清楚，是否取得奖学金，除了本身的考试成绩之外，还需要由很多其它客观因素决定，比如：需要考试学校当年的奖学金经费划拔是否充足；该校当年是否需要增加音乐奖学金比例，从而减少学术奖学金的供应；等等，这些外在因素，家长和孩子们很难左右。但是孩子们自身能力和水平的提高，却是实实在在看得到的进步。所以，我们为全体奖学金准备班孩子们的进步而骄傲。
不少家长问，2018年的奖学金考试就要全面展开了，在这最后的阶段，我们还能做些什么？
如果您的孩子是从现在才开始准备奖学金考试，那么，有一个相对扎实的基础是必要条件之一，这个基础包括：较强的阅读理解能力；相对广泛的词汇积累；以及对基础的数学知识有较全面的理解和一定的应用能力。
其次，接下来可以做的事情无外乎两项：第一，就是通过大量的模拟练习，熟悉题型，并对每套练习题进行精讲，了解其考点要旨；第二，就是通过对几大数学topic进行深入梳理，如果每周进行一项概念为重点，而您的孩子是明年2月开始参加奖学金考试，那么，还可以对至少十个重点概念成其延展内容进行梳理一至两遍，达到查缺找漏的效果。
