7月30日，新闻集团（News Corp）正式发布澳大利亚首份完全基于客观数据的《私立学校百强榜》（Australia’s Top 100 Private Schools），通过对20余项指标的深度分析，揭晓了澳洲顶尖付费教育机构的综合排名。
- 悉尼文法学院（Sydney Grammar） 凭借学术成就与硬件设施的卓越综合表现荣登榜首。
- 黑利伯瑞学院（Haileybury, Victoria） 作为排名最高的男女混校（co-ed school）位列第二。
- 紧随其后的是维州伯伍德（Burwood, Victoria）与新州克罗伊登（Croydon, NSW）的长老会女子学院（Presbyterian Ladies’ College）。
- 布里斯班女子文法学校（Brisbane Girls’ Grammar）位列第五。
一个特别的现象是，在未评估西澳大利亚州（WA）学校的情况下，前20强中单性别学校（single-sex institutions）占比高达90%（18所）。其中，男子学校占8所（包括冠军悉尼文法学校），女子学校占10所，仅有两所混校：亚军黑利伯瑞学院（墨尔本四校区）和第八名圣伦纳德学院（St Leonard’s College, Brighton East, Melbourne）。地域分布上，维多利亚州（Victoria）占半数（10所），新南威尔士州（NSW）占8所，昆士兰州（Queensland）占2所。
该榜单由专业团队采用复合算法，对每所学校进行七大维度加权评分：
NAPLAN（全国评估计划）与ATAR（高校入学排名） 多学年学术成绩；师生比例；学费标准、资金水平及社会经济优势评级；校园设施（专业中心、游泳池、剧院可加分）；课程广度（特色小众学科可加分）；课外活动丰富度（侧重领导力与文化项目）；体育项目完备性（高水平运动及专项体育可加分）
国际女校联盟（ICGS）区域执行董事洛伦·布里奇（Loren Bridge） 指出，女校营造的“强烈归属感”是学业投入与成功的关键。研究表明，单性别学校女生学习更投入，师生关系更融洽，课堂受尊重感更强，且在STEM（科学、技术、工程、数学）参与度和领导力培养上优势明显。
