周二（1月20日）上午，一辆小汽车在平交道口被一列货运火车撞击，造成2人死亡。

接到火车与汽车相撞的报告后，紧急救援人员赶赴位于克雷西（Cressy）的雷迪斯路（Reddies Road），该地在墨尔本以西约140公里。

车内2人当场死亡，身份尚未正式确认。火车司机及车上另2名工作人员幸存。

维州警方表示，事故详情尚未确定，相关原因仍在调查之中。
